A Short Update On Affilistore

It was my oversight and I apologize for it that I did not include this link when I completed the series on Homebased Businesss. I was of the opinion that when we start something that we are not familiar with, we go digging for more information and the most obvious place would be the program’s Forums. Obviously not everyone thinks like me, LOL.

Anyway, if you are toying with Affilistore, I think you should subscribe or at least bookmark Affiliate Stores by David Cameron, who is the moderator of the Affilistore forum. There are lots of information and latest updates on how to improve the stores you have created, like how to add Adsense into your stores and such. I referred a lot to this site when I was setting up my own store and doing the series on Homebased business.

  1. Hey Costa,

Thanks for the plug. It is great fun working with Affilistore and really exciting every time a new sale comes in.

Affilistore just gets better and better.

It is also worth plugging another site (run to Tifosi on the Affilistore forum) : Anyname. Tofosi has brought some of the most visual mods to Affilistore.

He and I have been working on an enhanced version of Affilistore which has reached Release Candidate stage bringing some of his mods right into the admin area for easy maintainance (e.g. Banner management).

Please note though that Affilistore enhanced will only be suitable for fresh installs. There is no plan for an upgrade path from v2 or 2.01. The changes under the hood will be too significant.

The new version will be made available through the Affiliate Stores site in the very near future. Subscribers will obviously get to hear about the availability first and I would support Costa’s cal to subscribe if you have not already done so..
